Light in the Darkness
Just wanted to share a thought......My kids asked me the other day why we put up lights at Christmas time? I think I told them that "It's a festive thing to do" .
Today I was riding in the car listening to kwave and the pastor was talking about "Darkness" which made me think about Pastor Scott's message this last Sun. about the glory of God and also made me rethink my answer to that Question my very inquisitive children had asked....
Maybe we hang lights to symbolize "The light that was brought into a dark and dreary world ...the baby wrapped in cloth lying in a manger....Jesus"

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.
